today was a fantastic day
im having off day for today and tmr
it just feels great
i can finally have sometime for myself
its been sucha long time since i had time for myself
i either sell my time to my job
or give it to ppl whom i go out with
but today i just spent the time in fellowship with God

went for cell meeting today
then to speedlight ministry
then went to reachlight gathering
it was fabulous
God has always been there for me
i dont know how i can be so short-sighted to have neglected his presence
yes im so caught up with this world
im losing myself
what exactly am i doing man

when i see all my spiritually filled bro n sis
their hunger and thirst for God amazes me
they willingly give up their time n life to serve God
what am i doing here
staying in my comfort zone
and not going the extra mile
i hate myself for bring so lazy and self centredness
always giving myself excuses not to be involved
ministry is sucha important part of christian walk
yet i dont have a ministry

if this world and life stops at this very moment
when we all fade away and God takes over
are you accountable for what you have done?
i feel so shameful to say i am not
yes i may have not done enough
but im confessing my sins now right before God
not to anyone so dont judge me
God knows me and my heart
cos he made me

im so gonna thirst and hunger for God again
revive me OH LORD
let the fire burn again
strenghten and energize me!!

i have plans for tmr already
its gonna be a very fabulous beginning i believe
and its always not late to confess your sins before God

ahh finally...
i finally broke down yday HAHAH
shucks dont know why but i just suddenly cant stand everything anymore
GOD HELP ME!
I REALLY NEED YOUR STRENGTH...

all the mental stress tt i face
plus the additional physical stress which others dont experience except me
standing for at least 42.5 hrs a week is no joke
and its taking a toll on me

i want to come out stronger cos i know GOD is there for me

OKAY but on the brighter side
there was this customer who brightened up my day
he was asking me why i had to stand up to do my job while the others could sit
HAHAH so i was like "no choice im working ma"
and he said "do u want a chair i can donate to ur company"
HAHAH i was like " WAH I REALLY DONT MIND YOU KNOW!"
then he cont'd saying "ok what type u want short, tall, high, low ... I HAVE LOADS OF CHAIR"
then the guy's momma interupted and said "dont disturb girls la!"
HAHAH super funny la
HE WAS SO SERIOUS ABOUT DONATING THE CHAIR!

AND another day this guy came up to me and ask me if the polo tee i was wearing is for sale
i was like "NO!!!!"
and he say he really wanted our tee badly cos he thinks the design is cool
(I WANNA SAY I CAN SELL IT TO YOU QFTER I QUIT!!)
tt guy is kinda mad the design of the shirt is one of the ugliest can
haha but hes quite a stlyish guy i wonder why he want the shirt

i just completed a 2500 words economics essay
cos i promised my friend i will help in the research
which i didnt know it was sucha killer
cos i had to wake up 2 hours earlier everyday
just to read up on my econs and to do the proj
and after tt rush to work
mug during break times cos i dont have enough time to read up
hahaha BUT im glad i have completed it already
at least i am answerable to my friend
and i think the proj was quite acceptable hahah

hello blog!
its 31st dec 2007 and we are 13hrs or so away from the new yr
so i reckon i should do some blogging
before the night comes and i miss out this important entry

ok so ltr gg out to meet my dears
gonna buy something which i hope will be a pleasant surprise for my dear
smiles dear :) lifes short, most imptly is you must know your creator then this life is not wasted
ppl come and go , live and die this short and brief life is really nothing
then after tt gonna go meet my dear boys of 4e
hahah i dunno why
but my jc boys are really different from them
maybe we are so used to 4e boys style of treating us
and i really appreciate their company
hahah oh wells

but aint gonna go countdown with them
cos i will spending my last hours of 2007
in my lovely cosy house of the Lord
yup i will want to spend my last hours in church praying and giving thanks
and not just partying and playing and drinking in this sinful world
God is sucha important part of my life
and i dont regret spending this time with Him alone

theres so much things i wanna thank God for in 2007
it has been sucha tough journey with all the ups and downs
especially all the torturing times when i buried myself in my books
and all the fustrating times i had when i dont meet my own expectations
no one else knows about my fustrations except God
He saw me through everything
and A levels are over and done with
and God has blessed me with so much
i was given the bursary award and Best in prog award for 2yrs :)

we're suppose to be happy cos its... slack
but its getting too slack that we requested for more stuff to do

this morning mgoh told me that it was raining heavily at her area
and i told her it was bright and sunny here
so i happily went breakfast with daddy since i do not have to work today
and i brought a small lil umbrella just in case it rains
so halfway whilst we were eating
it rained cats and dogs (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
and me and dad had to share that pathetic small umbrella
hahaha and i was totally drenched

ahh just came back from the rehearsal
its only 5days till the big day

out with mangoh yday
and i realised shopping aint very interesting afterall
cant seem to find anything thats pleasing to my eyes
and i didnt spend as much as i thought i would
hahaha and i ve gotten myself another account

but it seems quite redundant now

so after walking in those killer heels
was so turn off and we decided to catch a movie
tho it costed a bomb due to price disrcimination
its a third degree price discrimination where sellers get to price their product according to different markets

rights. was superb meeting up with babes yday short yet sweet
hehe love you guys :)

then went to meet momma and bus down to yishun to get to our saloon
yes, yishun what a far and alien place haha
cos momma's favourite hairstylist shifted there so...
spent 4hours or so in the saloon doing the hair
and momma signed some hairspa package
the hairspa was so cool haha
and i had my hair coloured a "little" haha
oops at first thought of getting something that is unnoticable
so i took a long time choosing what i wanted
cos everything is NOTICABLE haha

so the stylist said, 'i will choose for you and you'll just have to accept whatever i do."
hahah and since i couldnt make a decision i said ok
and so now instead of a colour i have colourS on my hair
hahah he said he was experimenting and i thought it looked great
cos it didnt looked ah-lian which i dread most haha

going out later for a surprise heh heh
and to eat steamboat :X
argh and i gotta start eating a lil lesser for the big day
hehe theres a rehearsal this sunday
so nervous i better practice walking on my heels
the last thing i ever wanna do is to trip on those heels haha

alrights
its one day late but at least im updating. ha
so the exams are over and it still feels like a dream
all those late nights all those struggles all those whatever are finally over
you can finally wake me up when november ends ha
wells. yday was spent quite meaningfully yet peacefully
the next few days are gonna be crazy ha
its been a long time since ive been out there
and its time.... ha

and today is b's last paper and we're finally catching up a lil :)
after that im off to do something to my hair ha
my fat-ti sis was experimenting with curls yday
and she did an "excellent" job
haha i thought my hair was on fire
so i reckon its safer for me to get some professional to do it :P
right fat sis? ha
but fat sis did a seriouslly excellent job in altering my dress
she burnt a big hole in the dress and the dress turned out to be fabulous
ha seriously fabulous
i think fat sis has a flair in doing all these creative yet crazy stuff haha

and and and i just heard yday mei and gang came over to my place to look for me
(they were looking for fy actually, cos we're neighbours you see)
but i wasnt at home haha no wonder mei called me which was so unexpected
and i think its fy bday! cos i heard them singing bday songs ha
so happy bday babe :)

and and yday when i reached home
all my stuff were packed in boxes and there are no single books on my table anymore
i suddenly felt so down and went to dug out all my stuff and placed them back
haha sometimes i do miss those mugging days
life now is kinda superficial just playing slacking laughing eating my days away
and bye to JC which is the longest yet shortest years of my education journey
haha very ironic i would say
it passed by so quickly yet its process is slow and torturing
slacking wont be long, im gonna start my classes soon
haha got lotsa things to fufill :)

hello hello :)
its been sucha long time since i blogged
and i nearly forgot my password heh
blogger hint me to change it some weeks ago
bcos its considered a weak password

gerald brought a golf mag for me today
which apparently has blue modelling in it

that was the mag that she had to pose for
when she told us she had to sleep earlier that night

just a lil reflection:
i always ask myself
how much more can i do for my friends and family
i always felt that i had not done enough for them
bcos i love them so much
and i cant wait to give more to them

i asked myself how much Jesus loves me
and i realise it was so much
that i do not know how to describe

and its bcos He first loved us
thats why we learn to love others
and i really hope i can learn to love
the people around me
just like Jesus loves me

very often i hear people around me
who are very turned off when their Christian friends
invite them to church
and they feel irritated by them
but just wanna let you know
its bcos your Christian friends love you so much
that they want to share Jesus' love with you
that they invite you to church

it has always been very hard for me
to open my mouth to invite my friends to church
bcos i know they would feel uncomfortable with it
however deep inside my heart
i really desire for them to come and experience God's love

its always hard to make the first step to come to church
bcos it is a whole new experience and one would not know what to expect
i had a difficult start as well
i remember during sec 1
when me and vanessa first attended shan rui's church
and we were so afraid bcos it was a new environment
however, today both of us are Christians
bcos we experienced God's love and we believed

God's words and promises are so beautiful
they are so good to be true
and probably unbelivable to some
however, whatever is written in the bible
are true records of history
and you can never doubt the name of Jesus
most importantly
everything happens only when if you believe
and im sure then you will receive

there is no such thing as "good" in this world
until Jesus step onto this earth
and died for our sins
bcos no man is worthy to be named "good"
for who have not sinned against God?

thats why
we have a Good Friday today
for us to celebrate
in remembrance of our risen King

had road run this morning
yeah its so called road run anyways
because i didnt even run
neither did i walked
hahaha i just rided around on the bike
enjoying my "scenary"
in the name of helping the teachers out

reached the place late as expected
because we alighted at the wrong stop
and had to walk the whole strech of ECP
we arrived the same time as the champion of the girls competitive runners
the guys was about to start
but my anticipated runner didnt make it on time either
so missed the chance
what a waste
hehehe

the bicycle ride was kinda lousy
because the seat was hard
and the area was crowded with so many other people whom were having their runs as well
so basically in the end i would rather push the bike than to ride it
hehehe

anyways
today was still a sweet one
with HIs and BYEs here and there
oh and i was spotted saying HELLO into the trophy which i lamely thought it was a phone
the usual dumb actions

today woke up EARLY to accompany my ah fat for 2.4km run
ah fat was shocked and happy to see me

and we were late for assembly

then went to pizza-ed after school
gained back the fats again

The Main Event

During the Great Depression that hit the United States in the 1930s, a family in the Midwest struggled to put food on their table. They had no money for luxuries.

One day posters all over town announced that a circus was coming. Admission would be $1. A boy in the family wanted to see the show, but his father told him that he would have to earn the money on his own. the youngster had never seen a circus before, so he worked feverishly and was able to buy a ticket.

On the day the circus arrived, he went to see the performers and the animals parade through town. As he watched, a clown came dancing over to him, and the boy put his ticket in the clown's hand. Then he stood ont he curb and cheered as the rest of the parade moved by.

The youngster rushed home to tell his parents what he had seen and how exciting the circus was. His father listened, then took his son in his arms and said," Son, you didnt see the circus. All you saw was the parade."

That story is a parable of Christmas. Many people get excited about the festivities but miss the main event. During this season, lets remember what happened in a humble stable and what Jesus' birth means to us! -Haddon

been BUSY working

my workplace is super fun

the people there are nice

cos my pandaeyes are enough to look as tho i have eyeshadow on

then the other day
some man came to purchase goods with fortifiet notes
damn happening

its like watching drama serial
the cashier discovered the notes were fake
secretly told me HAHAH
then we confronted him
he panicked BUT acted as tho the noted werent his
so we brought him to verify
AND the notes we confiscated&stuff
LONG STORY
to end it short
the man was caught!

and the salesgirl was made to write an INCIDENCE REPORT

so i asked the woman

was supposed to reach school at 715am
i took an earlier bus
and reached school at 705am
because i did not want to be late
saw jialin and went up to the LT tgt

my classmates arrived one by one
it was quite late then
and i have yet to see 2 of my group members
i told the people around me that
"i have faith in them" that they will come on time
i really thought so
but no sign of them even until 8am

i was quite worried
because other groups cannot start untill all has arrived
i told them not to come late
although we were the last group to present
and i really hoped they heed my advice

when they finally stepped in at 805am
they were the last to arrive i suppose
the others saw my face and thought i was angry
i was not
i was just disappointed
because i had so much faith and love for my group
thats why i felt so bad
and i felt so much for my group as a grp leader
i did not want anyone of them to get into trouble
yet it happened

ms peh - altho new, but she gave all that she could have given to the class. she bonds with us &&tries to attend every gathering that we had. she was patient with us - with our uniform, with our hair, with our attitudes, with our everything. what more can we ask for

mr lim - started off strict, but he got friendlier as the days go by. he is a great maths teacher - giving us extra remedials when we needed, sent us LOTS and LOTS of notes that he summarized. joking with us to keep us awake. what more can we ask for

ms devi - a new transferred-in teacher. but she was the best chem teacher around. trying so hard to help us. she was so patient in explaining all the chemistry crap again and again to us cos it was our weakest subject. what more can we ask for

mr tan - didnt give a good impression at first cos he was mono-toned; strict and boring. but he was so helpful and helped me through the last minutes of revision. always willing to help and always trying to teach us values. and he instilled some discipline into me. which i must thank him for. what more can we ask for

what great teachers my class has
when it dawned on me that they might not be teaching us next year
i was really depressed
so what if they were new ;they are good
i will just keep on praying
and hope for the best! :)
everything happen for a godly reason
and whatever the outcome
i thank you teachers for bringing me thus far!

the trip was GREAT
all i did was eat&have fun

some thoughts from the trip;
i. thank God for His journey mercy - protecting us throughout the journey :)
ii. what a magnificient&beautiful world God has created - you will be lying to yourself if you say God dont exist!
iii. thank God for my life - im able to take this time and think through my life &i know what i want to accomplish in this life and to be able to glorify my father in heaven

today went for Tulip Hearts Day
like what is that

its a charity event
whereby volunteers sell tulips
to collect money for the
Children's Cancer Foundation

so basically THD is is an annual event by Children’s Cancer Foundation
it pays tribute to the courage of children battling with cancer
&&it help increases the awareness of childhood cancer to the public.
&&helps to raise funds through the sale of tulip flowers and pins

its really meaningful
cos its so rarely that we can stop whatever we re busy with
&&think and help those who are in need

it was fun
tho it was tiring
it was supposedly to be a class outing
hehe
but half of my class couldnt make it
(cos' they cant wake up i suppose)
but it was alrights

were one group
it was super fun
&&we bonded like super glue
the guys were funny

when i realised that there was construction going on outside my house
i opened the door
&&was shocked that the construction worker was removing every single piece of tile on the common corridor

it really can make you deaf

that i became grey in colour just by coming out of my house
i was like rahh
hahaha

then it was raining
&&i had to carry an umbrealla with me
i had a difficult time finding the umbrealla cover
in the end i was late
&&i just grab a plastic bag to put the umbrella
when i was reaching the bus stop
i saw the bus coming
&&i tried running
while i ran across the road
my slippers came off
i froze on the road for 5secs without my slippers
hahaha
i hurried put on the slippers

the bus zoom pass me
i was like rahh

then took mrt to tanah marah to meet jie
as i was walking towards her
i paused awhile
&&looked at my feet

today was a great day
ended school early
so went to lunch with xiao ti
went to wat cheap&delicious food
then i went to buy some food
&bring it to my grandma's hse
heheh
at first i called my grandma
to ask if she was at home
i wanted to give her a surprise you see
then i stupidly ask her if she wanted to eat
that something that i was gonna buy for her
then my grandma told me not to buy for her le
cos it was quite troublesome for me
i was like "nevermind nevermind"
but she still said dont buy
heheh
she was very happy that i called and ask her
SO when she said dont want
cos she dont wanna trouble me
i was quite upset
SO i still bought it &brought to her home
BOY she was happy

happy mother's day :)

went to church today
&it was especially meaningful since
it was Mother's day
there was a time dedicated to mums
&they were prayed for
when my mum stood up
i prayed as well
then i started to wept
i prayed hard &prayed that my
mum is blessed

i started to think of the times;
when we quarrelled over small lil things
when we had cold war
when i got so irritated of her for
being overprotective
when we hugged &cried together
cos she know i was upset
so many so many things
that we did had

&i couldnt stop crying
cos im so grateful for her
shes a reflection of God's love on earth
she puts my dreams&hopes ahead of her own
&she loved&sacrificed so much for me
